Originally from Shellharbour a surf side village on the east coast of New South Wales Australia, Alex began his combat sports journey as an amateur wrestler securing an Australian title at an early age. He used these skills to develop into a highly skilled and respected rugby league player before making the transition back to the combat sports arena where he had a 4-0 amateur mma career stopping all four opponents early in the first round. In fact, Alex's entire amateur career lasted less than the equivalent of one professional mixed martial arts round.
Alex is now a 9-1 Featherweight riding a 6 fight win streak with 5 knockouts, 2 submissions and 2 decisions. Alex is currently rated on Tapology as the number one ranked featherweight and number one ranked lightweight in Australia. Alex is contracted to PXC holding a win in his promotional debut against Kyle Reyes. Alex is willing to prove himself and fight anyone and has never been one to pad his record; the total wins/losses for Alex’s opponents are 91 wins with 41 losses.
Alex, who is from Sydney, New South Wales, is a former first grade rugby league player winning the Mick Cronin medal (Our equivalent of MVP for the season) in his grand final win and last game. He was successful in winning a Tiger Scholarship and has appeared as a coach on the Malaysian Invasion reality show. There is no doubt that Alex would be the top unsigned fighter in the Australasian region.
