Miki Neckoski Australian Fitness Model

Born in Prilep Macedonia Miki Neckoski placed his studies of Masters in Architecture on hold to prepare for the Australia Men's Fitness Model
After 5 months of preparations and years of discipline I placed second in the ANB Australia Men's Fitness Model category. Whether I'd taken first place or last, I would've felt the same amount of gratefulness subjectively. It's been an unforgettable journey so far yet it's only a small integral part of the bigger journey of life. Even though it was a fine line between the first and second place, I realized an important lesson upon reflection. Earning the second place pushed me to analyze myself much more objectively. If I'd come first, I probably wouldn't analyze myself to that same extent and ultimate fail to grasp the reason for doing all of this - better myself and push the limits. Now I know that whether I place first or last next time, as well as other endeavours in life, I should ALWAYS analyze myself both subjectively and objectively 110%. In the time it has taken me to reach my goals and surpass them, the value of things I have learned is priceless. I have invested 3 years of my life into finding out what works best for me and my health and that is something that will remain with me for the rest of my life. On top of that I have been able to help clients as well as many friends and family members and as a result they have found out what works for them and have become much healthier and happier. This motivates me to keep going. I was after all extremely fortunate to be trained by the world pro and our native born Macedonian Sasho Ognenvoski at his gym in Beverly Hills. He was able to transfer his experience onto me and got me in the best shape I have ever been in my life. I am happy to say that he will be preparing me for many competitions to come. The competition was held in the Shellharbour, some 1.5hr drive from Sydney. During the drive I constantly affirmed myself winning and this allowed for me to stay positive the entire time. By the time I stepped on stage I was feeling 100%. There were more than 50 competitiors all competing in a particular category. Mine was fitness model under 30 years old. At the end of the day more than 500 spectators were watching us present our physiques and charismas on the stage. I was up against 9 other fitness models, most of whom have a background in the fitness industry. They all put up a good show and I am sure everyone in the audience was having fun. In the end it was the judges who made the call. I think they made the right call. The winner has an amazing physique and is quite talented. I am grateful he is going to challenge me again at the ANB Sydney Championships on May 17th at Marconi Club. It would be an honour if I can give a few tips to your valuable readers .
1. Never drink your calories. Eliminate all kinds of soft drink and juices and you will become much healthier.
2. Drink at least 3 litres of water per day.
3. Start your day by drinking water with fresh lemon juice squeezed in it. If possible go for a 20 minute walk after this.
4. If you want to get serious about losing weight make sure you set a goal. Find a picture of the body that you want to have and constantly look at it.
5. Get a personal trainer and make sure you do everything they say.
6. Remember: Health is a skill learned. Start by reading a book about health every month.
